LinksOur WebsiteDescription2 Day CNA Refresher offered every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. We cover all parts of the NC CNA exam and provide all equipment and materials needed for training. FREE CPR certification for all students (limited time)During the 2 day refresher you will be learning how to measure the following:Blood PressureRespirationsPulsePainUrinary OutputIntake & OutputWeightTemperature We will also be utilizing State approved practice tests and textbook content as well as the 24 skills for the State of North Carolina.These skills include: Washing your handsPutting a knee-high elastic stocking on a clientAssisting a client to ambulateAssisting client with using a bedpanCleaning and storing denturesTaking and recording radial pulseCounting and recording respirationDonning and removing PPEHelping dress a client with a weak armFeeding a client that cannot feed themselvesGiving a modified bed bathMaking an occupied bedTaking and recording client's blood pressureMeasuring and recording urinary outputMeasuring and recording a client's weightPerforming passive range of motion for a knee and anklePerforming passive range of motion for a shoulderPositioning a client on their sideProviding catheter careProviding fingernail careProviding foot careProviding mouth careProviding perineal care for a clientTransferring a client from the bed to a wheelchairExam Application On the last day of class we will provide you with application for the NC CNA STATE EXAM. We will assist you with filling this application out correctly. You will be responsible for mailing the application along with the $101 application fee to NACES. NACES will contact you with your exam date within 1-2 weeks.Exam ResultsYou will know your exam results on your exam day and be placed on the registry within 24 hours. Tuition $250 Early registration and full tuition or deposit payment required 1 week before class date. $100 Deposit will hold your seat in class. The remaining $150 will be due 2 days before your class. Class size is 5 students per class. Classes fill fast!
